Regular Decision Notification Date

hmmmmm…dunno…mine is going to be up at 6 PM according to my email, but they’ve been known to stagger decisions like this so that their server doesn’t get overloaded

I live in AZ and my email says 7pm.

still havent gotten an e-mail

S O E X C I T E D!

still waiting in MI

Got mine today… crossing my fingers!

@goblue
got mine a while ago in midwest

Mine says 6pm. I’m EST.

i’m international and my email says 7 PM

I live on the west coast and mine says 7 PM as well. I wonder if this is because they want to stagger decisions or if it has anything to do with the difference in time zones and all.

yeah i would assume it’s a time-zone thing… i’m in MD (EST) and I got 6:00

That’s odd because I’m Il (central) and I got 7:00, wouldn’t that be backwards if it was a time-zone thing (east coast would be an hour ahead)

They might be trying to stagger it…

yeah i guess it doesn’t actually have to do with time zones that was stupid of me. usually these sites go live at 5 or 5:30 anyway so maybe it’ll be up around then and they just don’t want it to overload… or they can’t upload everyone’s letters at once… i know i applied to brown ED and they uploaded acceptances at one point then defferrals then rejections because they would overload the system if they uploaded everything at once

mine says 6pm. east c

Curious, I did receive the e-mail as well and it says 6:00 PM 3/25
(I have a likely letter already though).

Wonder if 6:00 PM == Acceptances and later times
correspond to some other decision…? Just speculating and
do not wish to add to your tension for the upcoming week…

Maybe some other likely letter recipient could share the time it
says on the current e-mail…? We could then collectively figure
out on CC if in fact there may be more to this hypothesis

:)

I wish, I have 6:00 PM in my email, but I will more than likely be rejected.

I really hope the different times have nothing to do with the decisions,
because I have 7 PM…but true, I’m expecting a rejection…but please no.

Wolfpack12, don’t lose hope!!!

From your username, are you from NC? If so, you’ll get a slight admissions boost that may be enough to pull you over the top!

Question. Could this perhaps be an alphabetic order sort of deal? maybe there’s a trend in email addresses or in last names?

We could try and see if there’s anything there.
