<p>Most schools say they will release decisions by a certain date (March 1st, April 1st , etc.). Does this mean decisions may be released before this specified date? And do all applicants receive their decision on the same day??</p>
<p>I applied to Purdue University in August and I received an e-mail saying they would release all admissions decisions on December 9, 2011. Sure enough, I checked my application status on December 9 and my decision was there. They did not release any decisions before that day. If your schools said that they will release decisions <em>by</em> a date, this means you will know no later than that date. I would assume you will find out before then, depending on when you applied. Hope this helps, and good luck to you.</p>
