I got wait listed too. So many people got wait listed. I hope I get in.

Same here. I know that the wait list is unranked. Does anybody know how it works ?

linhkn, you should check this one from St. Olaf Website. It has different statistics about Wait List Applicants last year.

Perhaps it is for both domestic and international applicants. International applicants have much more slim chance. You’re from VN, right ? On VA, so far there is only one guy who got into St. Olaf this year. Don’t lose hope!

Thank you so much you just made my day!! I know that the chance for intl applicants is much more slim, but I was really shocked because of the great difference between two years. Yes I’m from and I already saw the update on VA. Hope we’ll both get in! :)

Waitlisted, seems like there are a lot of us here. Domestic, 31 ACT, multiple APs including a 5 in my desired major, on a second gap year working full-time… what else is there to be said, really? I’m devastated. St. Olaf was the first college I was ever interested in and sent them my test scores as far back as 3-4 years ago. Shame that the first college I heard from, after waiting years to apply to, is a waitlist.

Time to prepare some stuff to hopefully get me admitted!

FrostByte38 – And others who were waitlisted – I’m curious to know if you visited St. Olaf? I’ve heard St. Olaf loves to admit kids who really show they want to be there by visiting once or more than once and/or “showing the love” in other ways. I’m also wondering what your class rank was. I know someone who was waitlisted with stats like yours but they did not visit and had a lower class rank.

Yeah…I showed interest. I was always in contact with the counselor. …I was also gonna change ma status from RD to ED2, so (the counselor said they give more aid in RD,so she is gnna keep me there)…
