When do we find out for regular decision?

Some have already heard... I haven't yet though and I'm in VA.

Officially the web site says letters will be going out "the end of march" but i find that annoying ambiguous... should be any day now.

Does anyone know though if scholarship info is sent with the acceptance?

My D just got an email that "the acceptance letter that we sent you last week" had some incorrect information in it. Well, we did not receive that mailing; maybe it will be arriving this week?

Anyway, sounds promising! We will be at Accepted Students Day.

OK, acceptance letter just arrived also. It's official! We're very excited, and looking forward to visiting on Accepted Students Day.

Same here…we’re in Maryland and it just arrived today! Very excited for Accepted Students day.

This is the last of all of the fat envelopes…so nice that it’s nearly over. Just a big decision now.

and to reply to Carasimp, the scholarship info was sent with the acceptance.

The schedule for accepted students day is really jam packed. Too many events to attend all of them. pumpkin, is your offspring doing a dorm overnight?

What days are the accepted student days?

I don’t have a calendar in front of me, but it is the Monday and Friday of the week that, if my finger counting is correct, begins April 6. Their website is not laid out well to find that information, I know!

yes. my letter said that their Accepted Students Days were monday april 6th and friday april 10th.

alright thanks

Hi Chisquare,

Pumpkin progeny definitely wants to overnight if it can be arranged. She can only go on April 10th, fingers crossed she can over night on Thurs or Fri? Although we might have something to do on the 11th.

Congrats to everyone!

pumpkin, according to the website, overnights are only allowed on 2 days - one of them being Thursday. Friday is not an option. So my D will be there for an overnight on the 9th, and doing the Accepted Students stuff on the 10th. Parents get to do the Accepted Students stuff too. Sounds really interesting!

Thanks! My D tried to log in, but her student/ID and pw combo is not working. So, we will have wait to rsvp. Thursday the 9th would be perfect for her, I hope there is availability.

We have visited twice, and once was an open house that covers some of what is covered in the accepted student day. So, hopefully she can choose some things she has not explored yet. DH has not been there for an in depth visit. He stopped while passing through one day, did not tour, so hopefully he will get a better idea of what it’s really like. I hope to be there also. By that time in April, it should be great, as long as it’s not raining.

Well, if this is your 3rd visit, that certainly says something about the college. It is obviously on your short list!

I would call to talk about arranging the overnight, given that it is < 2 weeks away. That’s what I did.

Sadly, my D’s short list is 5 colleges long. St. Mary’s is probably number 1 in her mind right now though. SMCM has a special feeling to her. I hope the visits we are scheduling help her make up her mind.

At least she eliminated the other 5!

I will probably call - thanks for that advice.
