Sat II
Math II - 650
Physics - 710
Chemistry - 740

I really know I have no idea why i am applying to Columbia but whenver i think of not applying I just feel like i am making a big mistake by not applying. So........
I am international so hope they accept me...............PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

Well, with Columbia not looking at the Writing section (I feel silly for not knowing that... :p), my scores don't look as good as they do with it. Ah well.

SAT I:
M: 650
V: 680
W: 790
Essay: 12

(It's sad that I've been writing so many apps that I don't properly remember each app's specifics...looks like I sent the ACT/two SAT IIs in place of my SAT I)

ACT:
Composite: 31
Writing: 33? (can't access my scores online anymore and too lazy to check app)

Thanks acraig, I figured as much. The point I meant to make was that I realize that my SAT I numbers are lower than all of yours, but because my ACT score was equivalent to an SAT I 2200 (1400 with just M/CR), that's what I'm going with as an indicator of my scores.

"Are they glancing at the writing as an equivelent to an SAT II or giving it no weight whatsoever?"

I'm not sure but, considering Columbia previously accepted the writing as an SAT II, it seems extremely unlikely that they would completely discount it simply because it is part of the SAT I. That said, my gc told me that, when talking on the phone with columbia representatives, they refer to SAT scores as out of 1600 and not 2400. Also, Columbia reduced the number of SAT IIs it requires from three two two after the inclusion of the writing subsection in the SAT I. Thus, the writing counts as much or more than a SAT II and as much or less than a SAT I subsection, although, I'd guess its closer to an SAT II.

This is right. It's treated about the same as the old SAT II Writing.
