Is Penn really difficult to get into Regular decision? I know they accept a lot early but regular decision crunch time, the rate is about 16%. How would you compare the selectivity of Penn RD, Columbia RD, Brown RD, and Dartmouth RD?

For Penn and Dartmouth, they accept about twice as many (pecentage-wise) ED compared to RD. I don't know about Columbia and Brown, but the impression I got is ED doesn't help that much at Columbia, but I can only vouch for the other two.

Actually, contrary to what you may have thought, Columbia has one of the lowest RD %'s of the ivy's, this past year at 10%, as it accepts nearly 50% of its class in ED.

Thanks for the check-up. As I said, I was only familiar numbers-wise w/ Penn and Dartmouth.

I just realized I may have come across as harsh or condescending. My apologies for the overly blunt "you're wrong" opener =)
