<p>I live in CT, not too far from Bowdoin. The letter did not appear to be sent by FedEx; it was just a regularly postmarked (small) envelope.</p>

<p>Rejection from bowdoin will also kill me too…I applied to 3 LACs, Oberlin, Carleton and Bowdoin, all accepted except bowdoin. Bowdoin is one of my two top choices (the other is Chicago, waitlisted), so yea, I definitely hope we get in.</p>
