I’m from Bulgaria and I recieved my e-mail 30 mins ago. Waitlisted…

In case those of you internationals who are waiting for your e-mails have not thought of this, be sure and check your spam folders . .

D just got email… international… Waitlisted…

S got snailmail (small envelope) waitlisted and email later today. We’re in Switzerland. Hate to say it but those of you still waiting, it doesn’t look good.

S got accepted Saturday. (Florida). I saw the mail lady put big white envelope in the mailbox. Also accepted to Bates. Denied Amherst. Waiting on Middlebury, Dartmouth, Tufts and a few more. Will probably go to Bowdoin regardless, as it was his first choice, but curious to see anyway.

Middlebury decisions were posted on their website on Saturday.

don’t give up hope even if you haven’t gotten your mail yet! i got mine today and i still got in. (after a rejection from amherst and swat and waitlist from midd)

Im Chile. Waitlisted today.

i was deferred early decision II, and now i got waitlisted idk if i should continue on with hope or not. i have good grades and a decent amount of extracurriculars, i think its my stupid sat scores thats holing me back. :(

I’m so sorry about your decision Jamiecago. In fact I was really hoping to go to Bowdoin with you (of course after you revealed your identity!). I am sure you will get off the waitlist.

Flat out rejected. Fantastic. :(

Got the letter today in Minnesota. Accepted. My SAT is the strongest part of my application (my GPA is a measly 3.65), and Bowdoin is test-optional, so I thought this would be a rejection for sure. I’m ecstatic.

Got my letter yesterday, and I got accepted! Pretty excited, but I don’t if I’m going for sure. Have to wait to hear from Williams tonight and Dartmouth thursday…we will see :)

Well, one of my parent attended Bowdoin so I had good image of it so far. Now that I got waitlisted, I’m done with it. Whatever. Congrats to those who got accepted!

Jamiecago, hope once the initial sting of being waitlisted wears off, you will reconsider being done with Bowdoin (if you really want to go there). If you look at the results threads of other comparable schools, you will see that waitlists are huge this year. Not surprising, because as the number of schools students are applying to seems to increase every year…and this year yields (% of those accepted who actually attend) are especially tricky because the economy makes financial aid so important.
