<p>What do regular decision schools want and when? Is it right at their deadline (jan 1) or is it some time after?</p>
<p>I know the forms vary by school, but I mean the main ones that nearly all want for need based FA. </p>

<p>The FAFSA form is not available until 1 Jan and the CSS Profile used by a number of schools requires tax data for the calendar year just finished in Dec. It is recommended to fill them out as quickly as possible after that but certainly before the end of February so you can get your FA offer with your admission decisions in March.</p>
<p>Oh so would it be reasonable for me to do all this FA stuff after I send all my apps on Jan 1? I’d rather focus on my apps atm than do this crazy FA stuff.</p>
