I've noticed that a ton of people have done ED to certain schools. I have decided long ago not to do this, but I was wondering whether that is a mistake? Do colleges accept 75 percent of ED applicants than use the other 25 percent in choosing regular applicants? How much of a disadvantage is it to apply regular over ED?

Schools' early decision or action programs usually have higher acceptance rates because these are individuals who already have outstanding statistics. For example, they don't need the first semester of their senior year to help them or whatnot.

Ive seen alot of schools with ED, but not EA.

aren't the statistics usually the same. if anything don't they accept some applicants who normally would not get accepted in the regular decision round because it is much more competitive?
