Regular Decision , Villanova?

I'm a white male from PA from a reputable high school (in the state). I applied EA to Nova (major biology) and I got deferred :(. Here are my stats:

Weighted GPA (4.0 scale): 4.0
my school doesn't do rank or unweighted GPA
SATs: 1200, 1790 superscore (I KNOW this is what killed me)
ACTs: 28
SAT Sub: 640 Bio (this too)
Good Ext. Cir., good essays
My brother and grandfather also attended Villanova
Took a very rigorous course selection; one of the hardest schedules I can take (a lot of Ap's)

What do you guys think of me being admitted? Also, is there anything I can do to help my chances (I'm thinking of taking the Bio subject tests again). I saw online that I should call admissions and express my enthusiasm or something, but I'm just wondering what you guys think. Thanks so much!!

Villanova: High match

It can’t ever hurt to call/send an email expressing your interest. I would definitely do that if I were you. I was not aware that Villanova even considered SAT 2’s and in any case, I thought they’d only consider scores from test dates through December in the Regular Decision Round. But this could have all changed since we looked there a few years back. However, that being said, if you think you can improve upon your scores, I would recommend you do retake your standardized tests in the chance that you are waitlisted. Then they would be interested in updated information. I do think waitlisting is a possibility as your test scores are on the low side for Villanova. Everything else looks good though and I do think you have a decent shot at getting in! Good luck!
