Regular Decision

In the past, did they release at a certain time?

They even posted photos of the packets.

I just want to have one of those :(

@456student123 I heard that they released ED at 5pm

Someone call and ask them haha? :D

@456student123- in the past it was 5 PM …but now “later tonight” I just dont get what they mean

At this point I may just go back to my episode…

Admission packets were shipped today, and email acceptance letters go out tonight! Stay tuned for more news about the Class of 2018 — and tell them congratulations with #welcomenewephs.

ahar well i got a 2390 on my sat and im a usaco finalist so i’ll probarbly get in, like i do with all the ladies

@LAMuniv I was considering getting a snack…

except jk about the last part ^

I think I’ll go back to English class…this is too scary

@NeonCrayons As if all 500 freshman “saved North Korean children from starvation” or had rich parents. Unless it’s constructive criticism, please do not post such comments, especially while students are anxiously waiting for their decision

@book05 sounds like a good idea, get some popcorn and watch this thread explode
I happen to be stopped in the middle of one of the most climactic episodes right now so I’m dying of double suspense

@derfundoopleyhj If you get in, I’ll apologize. But Williams rejects kids with even really, really high stats

Their apps dropped by 8%.

If they accept the same amount of people as last year, that makes an acceptance rate of 19%. Tough for sure, but not nearly as bad as others lol.

@NeonCrayons Understandable, since they holistically look at each application.
By the way, your rationale is flawed since high stats does not correlate with ECs.

…Actually, 20% isn’t that bad… well, not as bad as I was expecting…

Despite the 8% drop in applications they said that the average SAT score of accepted students went up.

True, but SATs are just one small part of the whole application.

“Meh. SAT’s” (My reaction to all SAT comparisons).
