Summary:

  • I’m not the most competitive applicant being an Asian-American, but I feel that I am solid when it comes to admissions in the context of my situations/surroundings. Feel free to give me feedback on admission to University of San Francisco!

Decisions for regular applications come out in the middle of March.

Curious if any RD applicants have heard anything? From glancing over posts for previous years, it seems like their usual method is some combination of snail mail (or email notification in parallel)… as opposed to making an update online to the portal. I’m in the Pacific NW so not sure if we’re waiting on mail… email… etc.

Well, at least it’s official… according to their Instagram account (@usfca_admission)… notifications have now been mailed out. More waiting of course. I’d post a link, but this site prevents me.

Decision just came out

Twin Daughters both got admitted!

Admitted to CS with $20K/per year!

My son (in Seattle) was accepted with a 25K scholarship. I guess he received an email and his portal updated on Friday (yesterday), but still waiting for the snail mail arrival. He wants to get en English degree and become a secondary school teacher and USF seems to offer some interesting programs and options at their School of Education. My oldest son is a sophomore at Santa Clara Univ.

Accepted w/ $25k/year scholarship!!

English major
ACT: 33 (35/36/35/27)
UW GPA 3.82, 12 AP & 6 honors classes
Some national & international awards for my ECs

Congrats to everyone accepted!

Got accepted into Honors College with an invitation to apply for $20K more!

The package arrived by mail this morning (Sat) and surprisingly, accepted into Honors College with an invitation to apply for the Getty scholarship, as well. It mentioned a personalized link sent to his email address, but he hasn’t seen anything… and the deadline is March 31st.

apparently, the honors college is beginning its third year here at usfca. i wonder how good it is.

I recently got into USF but I would like to deny my offer. Does someone know how to do that?

Did uou apply to the honors college or they offered it themselves?
