Letter. I’m still grinning.

awesome! Waiting here in Texas.

Congrats BTMell. My son was waitlisted. It appears his decision will now be to either attend Union or BU. Both are great schools and I am sure that he will be happy at either one of them.

Congratulations to everyone who was accepted. Bates is a great school!

I am confused whether internationals get a letter and am email…

Internationals just as domestics only receive letters, no emails or portals.

thick env?

Did anyone else on the east coast not receive a letter today?

@BTMell Congrats!!!
@IBinLux actually, internationals receive both e-mail and letter (though they’ll receive their letter by April 1st, I believe)

@EkeAnTadze
Oh, I was told otherwise. Anyway, when will internationals receive the admissions email then?

@IBinLux
“In addition to receiving their decision letter in the mail, international applicants will receive an email with their decision next Monday, April 1.”
-The Bates Admission Team

Furthermore, Class of 2017 page says
“Students who have not received their decision letter by Monday, April 1, 2013 are welcome to call (1-855-BATES55) for their decision on or after Tuesday, April 2, 2013.”

So if your mail is really late, you’ll be able to find out about admission decision even if you’re domestic.

Thank you!

Received in the mail today, near Boston!

Oh my goodness I’m going to have to wait so long!

Hi, yes. With a big CONGRATULATIONS! on the front.

I wish I’d been here to see my son’s reaction!

I didn’t get anything today and I’m from MA…hopefully I will know tomorrow

Accepted! I tried to schedule an interview but I ended up not getting one, but I still got accepted! It’s a really nice school and I want to try and visit but I’ve already schedule 3 trips; I don’t know if I can miss any more :x. I also have to see how much aid they’d give since apparently, they never received my (and my parents) W-2 forms. I’m still happy, though, I got into Bates! I also like how they added a hand-written “Congrats, and welcome to Bates!” to my letter; that was a really nice touch.

Got my acceptance letter today in California =) Bates is amazing! Good luck everyone!

Nothing in NH, I’m an international though

I still have not received anything in the mail but I am curious if anyone else can login using their ID/PIN for the application status website.
