regular decisions

Rodney, it would make me feel better if all SUNYs disclosed admin states seperately for IS and OOS. Wont happen unless the state demands it. Write your state elected official.

why not write and object to athletes with crappy GPA, crappy attitudes, police records getting into Binghamton just to play basketball. They disrupt classes if you believe the NY times. That is what people should be screaming about. They are taking up valuable space for students that want to go to Binghamton

I guess some instate RD people have received their decision.

I was at my locker today and one of my friends came up behind me and asked if I had heard from Binghamton yet. I said "Well no, I was deferred and I'm still waiting...probably won't know until end of March" So he walked away and this girl was at her locker 2 down from me. She said that she heard about one week ago. I was really surprised so I clarified that it was Binghamton that we were talking about. She said yeah I got in and my boyfriend didn't. So me being extremely nosy asked what her and her boyfriend's stats were. She said they both applied RD, she had an 1170 SAT, 91 avg., couple APs, ok extra curriculars and a decent essay. I know her boyfriend and he is a complete slack off but very smart. She said he has a 1300 SAT, 80 avg., no aps and not one extracurricular activity. They aren't athletes or anything special.

So, I guess what I am trying to say is that some instate RD people are apparently getting their decisions. And I can't believe she got in with an 1170. But I felt the need to explain the situation just in case some of you question my credibility.

Sean---just wondering, she was accepted to Harpur? Or a different school?

I haven't received my decision yet, and I applied to Harpur. I wonder when Harpur releases decisions? I applied December 15th, do you guys think my decision will come soon?

I honestly did not ask her what school she applied to. I am pretty sure her boyfriend applied to SOM. I'll check tomorrow and let you know.

I think they both applied mid-November.

Congrats coretta joe! Seems like that took awhile, but I'm sure it was worth the wait now!!

Thanks awkward! It's so nice to get an acceptance---always a good feeling.

Oddly though, no one else at my school has their decision yet, even people who applied to the same school around the same-ish time (within 3-4 days of me, I think.)

Do you guys know when they are going to be sending them out already????? I'm tired of waiting!!!!!
