Regular or honors physics

So I’m a junior and I already decided I want to take physics senior year (I’m taking human anatomy honors now) I am not at all a math person, im good with equations however like in algebra so would honors physics be too difficult?

You have to take into account that it’s not just math, there is a lot of conceptual stuff too. Watch a Khan academy video about motion or something, if it sounds boring, that academic, if it sounds mildly interesting and/or easy, take honors.
(I took honors last year as a senior and only managed to not fall asleep b/c i had my squad with me, but, that’s just me)

alright ill check it, also do you have to memorize tons of formulas and did you still do well or did you find it stressful or hard at all? I dont want to take it and i have to memorize tons of formulas :stuck_out_tongue:

What kind of physics is this. AP 1 and 2 do not really require very much math after Algebra 2, but C requires calculus and at least some physics background.

I’m taking Honors Physics right now and it’s not as intimidating as I thought it would be. You should be able to memorize some core formulas like how to solve for acceleration, velocity, etc, but for the larger formulas, it depends what unit you are in at the time to decide which equations you need to know. My first semester class had a variety of grade level students whom all were always feeling stressed about tests. When learning new concepts, you will be faced with boring lectures and note taking, but after, you get to do cool experiments. (not as cool as Chem, but cooler than Bio)
