Regular readers of the Economist

A new edition of the Economist comes out weekly, and each edition contains so many articles.
When people say they regularly read the Economist, do they mean that they read every single or most articles in every weekly edition?

Economist.com

I usually read one or two articles each day. The online site also has a vibrant commenting community, and the members often provide very insightful commentary (I’m one of them, heh).

Just stay away from the comment sections of articles dealing with China. ^_^

I don’t know what this has to do with Pre-Med topics, but when I had a (free) subscription to the Economist I read just the articles that were of interest to me. Sometimes that was most of the articles, it was rarely all of them. I did always read the Obituary ;).

I get my news from whatever’s on the front page of Yahoo.com.

^ That’s great…

If I try to access it online through my college subscription via separate journals like Academic Search Premier, Business Source Complete, or Lexis Nexis Academic Canadian edition, it wouldn’t let me view comments. Is there a way to view comments using college subscription?

^ It’s free. =0

I don’t have any subscription.

But not all the articles are free, unless you access them via school subscription or your own subscription…

^ Well, I’ve yet to run into an article than I wanted to read that I didn’t have access to. I guess they only put the free articles online. But that’s still more than enough for the typical busy college student. =]

Not to mention, I usually derive my news from a multitude of different sources anyway.

…all excellent. :)

If you go to [Renewing America | The Economist](<a href=“Renewing America”>Renewing America) and look to the right for Related Items, you’ll see that one of the articles there, “And now to work”, has the red E mark which indicates that it’s not free.

Lol, well that’s from 2001, so I can’t say I’d be particularly distressed from not being able to read it…
