<p>so, i checked my online status, and it said everything was received, but the application type was Regular...even though I applied by dec 1st. does it just say "regular" for everyone? what do they have to receive by dec 1st to make it priority? just the application? or do they also have to get your recs and stuff?</p>
<p>There is no difference in the regular or priority deadline, lol. It's just that they prefer you to send it in by December 1 so that they could a head start on sorting through all the forms and pieces of your application. In addition, you allow them to have time to create those Harvard status accounts for you and set up interviews. That's all the difference is; it just allows them to spread out their work now that they're on a single-date deadline with the abolition of early action.</p>
