<p>SailorSaturn - It seems to me that the people who got invited are all quite different. Some have great stats and others have great EC’s but it really appears like they don’t really have a formula to select the students. Personally, I didn’t think I was going to be invited just because I don’t think my EC’s are all that great. My objective stats probably helped me quite a bit though (35 ACT, 4.0 UW). She had a great time. Her student host gave her a taste of the dorm life and there were multiple planned activities which showcased the various academic departments, service opportunities, sports facilities, etc. She ate dinner in the Press Box in the stadium and she and several other Reilly kids weighed the pros/cons of ND over their other choices. Only one hiccup: she called me at 1am to say she was in front of the Golden Dome with another Reilly girl and she needed directions to Lyons Hall!! While she was torn between ND and one other school, her experience has made her sister really want to attend ND!!!</p>
