Reilly vs Spring Visit Weekend

I was admitted to ND early action in December and about a week later, I received an email inviting me to something called Spring Visit weekend which is an all expense paid trip February 12-15 where you attend classes and tour campus and what not…
Anyway being a curious senior I wanted to known what I might be getting into, so I tried to find information on the ND website about it but only found info about something called Reilly visitation. It seems to be the same thing (described as all expense paid, eat meals, attend classes etc with students), except that it is like 10 days later. There was nothing at all that detailed Spring visit weekend on the site.
Are spring visit and reilly different programs?
What are the criteria for getting invited to them? (the email I got says something about diversity, while the ND website says acdemically outstanding applicants for reilly)
From someone who has been to spring visit, what is it like? what do you do? it is the same as reilly?

Reilly is for the top 1% of their applicants. Spring Viz is generally for solid applicants who bring some form of diversity to the campus (ethnic, socioeconomic, geographical).

Oh ok. Do you know how many kods go or what we do? Is it about the same as Reilly? Also, is there anywhere on the ND website I can go to get more information?

@NDBound2019‌ Did you receive a confirmation email from them? I was also invited, and I signed up online, but I haven’t heard anything from them since.

@Coolkid999‌ I also haven’t heard anything back since responding… and that was a few days ago. No confirmation email yet.

Anyone else get confirmation for spring visit? I registered about 5 days ago and still haven’t heard anything back. The deadline is the 12th (tomorrow) and I’m starting to get a little worried. Should I email the guy it said i should email with questions today? I don’t want to have some sort of “sorry we ran out of space” problem pop up on me after the deadline if they for some reason can’t access my registration. By the way, the email I got says the link I used to register can also be used to review my registration if I click on it again. However, when I click on it, the page try to load for about thirty seconds then says it cannot be loaded. What should I do??

@NDBound2019, I’d go ahead and call tomorrow and just make sure they received your RSVP. No worries!

The link just started to work again and it confirms that I submitted the registration on the 7th. I saved a screen shot of it as proof in case the link goes down again. Anyway, should I just wait a day or two until after the deadline to see if i receive an email of confirmation or go ahead and call/email just in case?

Hey, I had this same question. I emailed the guy: you’re not supposed to get a separate confirmation email. As long as it says you submitted it, I think you’re good. If you just want to be extra sure, you can email Mr. Saddler, and I’m sure he’d be more than happy to confirm it. I’ll see you in February!

Ok thanks. I guess I will see you in February as well. I will take your word for it but it seems strange seeing that in the original email they sent to invite us it says, “You will receive a confirmation email once your registration has been received”

Anyway I’m flying in and they are supposed to email me tickets. Those have not come in yet but I figured they would take longer. Anyone receive their plane/train/bus tickets yet?

I thought the same thing which is why I e-mailed him. And no, I haven’t gotten my ticket yet - probably will take some time.
