Reilly weekend thread

i figured since the weekend is coming up, i'd put up this thread.

basically anyone can post anything that has to do with Reilly can post: thoughts, feelings, haikus, what have you.

so...

who else is attending? i will be!

I am excited
however the blarney sheet
is hard to fill out

you said haikus were acceptable....

When do the invites come out? What are the dates? Thanks!

I think the invites are already out...my letter said to RSVP by March 9th.

Interesting...last year invites went out March 4....what is the date of your invite and when is Reilly weekend? thanks for sharing!

GoodOldSong - My D was admitted EA and she received her invite Dec 23 (nice present). She is heading down March 21st for Reilly Weekend. Someone said this weekend wwas for EA admits only.

^Nope. I'm an RD applicant, and my invite letter was dated Feb. 27, 2009. It was postmarked March 2nd, though.

The weekend itself is April 4-7 for me, unless if for some reason the words "Reilly Visitation Weekend" that is printed on my letter is not what it means. :P Maybe they hold two different weekends, one for EA admits and one for RD admits?

I'm an RD applicant, too. I got invited to the April 4-7 Reilly weekend. Looks like fun; I was going to visit Notre Dame anyway, and now I get to do it fo free!

I'm pretty sure there are two weekends. The second one has some engineering specific tours etc. so I believe if you are an engineering intent you were invited to the second weekend. My D. will be attending that one.

Yeah. I was EA for Notre Dame and was invited to the Reilly Weekend on April 4-7 (also engineering intent). Nicer for me anyways because the second weekend extends into my spring break (which was gonna be for college visits anyways) and I would hate to go back to school right after 5 hour flight

So any idea what Gaelic Storm is like?

incredible Irish band...played in the under deck dance party in Titanci

gaelic storm is really good

So who else went and what did we think about it?

PM time?
