international students, SAT: 1550, SAT mathII 800, chemistry 790, right now only has offer from UCD and University of Rochester. I heard about a statement that UCLA won’t admit students that UCB wants cuz they know students will go to UCB. IS THAT TRUE? But why I was waitlisted by UCSD?
No way to determine your chances since each campus is unique and uses their own criteria to determine the best “fit” applicants to admit. Stats alone does not determine your acceptance since your essays, EC’s, awards, special talents, leadership etc… all contribute in your application review.
There are many examples of applicants getting into both UCLA and UCB so just UC rumor perpetuated by applicants that are not admitted into both each year.
