<p>I’m sorry. I know it hurts and there isn’t anything we can say to help a lot. I will tell you that my good friend’s son turned down Holy Cross for UMass Amherst. They gave him a merit award plus the lower cost made it just a better deal. Not worth the differential they decided. And they could have afforded it if they felt it was warrented. My husband’s colleague had his son go to a SUNY over Brandeis after going over the salient points. These are all very astute folks looking at factors that are important in choosing the colleges and they had the choice. Please do keep that in mind.</p>
