I did not send my transcripts! All I did was apply to the school I decided to hold off sending my transcripts untill I am done with this one class I am currently taking since they had space still available. Today I get some letter that says I have been rejected and must wait 7 semesters to reapply. Isnt that over 3 years????

Wow 7 semesters??? Thats crazy...

Which school is this?

When was the deadline to apply?

Did you talk with the admissions office to ask them if you should do this?

"They had space till available" - what?

Its the University of Tampa. The deadline was back in late april I think. I called them back in april and said would it be a problem to send my transcripts late they then told me no its ok we have rolling admissions and we have spots still available. I just got off the phone with them and they told me that they used the stuff I sent a year ago when I applied as a freshmen to make the choice. Also they told me to appeal the decision and send my college transcripts. 7 semesters is a long time since I am going into my Sophmore year!

This is the only University in the state that has the exact degree program I am looking for but I am starting to think its not worth it to get into this place and maybe I need to expand my horizons out of the state. Even though its a private University I get to use my prepaid, scholarship(only can be used instate), and I am eligble for a grant. If I go out of the state I have no money to pay so I am really at a loss.

Why didn't you just send the transcript anyway? You would have the 1 semester grades. Then you could have made a customized midyear report in the middle of March. Since its rolling, the later you send everything in, the worse off you are so this would have been better for you.

Oh well, at least you can appeal. Good luck

I needed 17 credits to apply. I only took 6 during the fall. Even though coupled with spring and summer I would have over 20 credits which I wrote down on the application I was told that admissions is based on how much credits you have currently. So thats why I decided to wait. I did not know that its bad if they had rolling.
