Rejected by a safety, decisions in 3 days

I just got rejected by Fordham university with a 2180 sat, top 10% and good ecs

Even though I got into northeastern, this has me really worried for Brown on Thurday.

If I can’t get into Fordham, how in the hell will I get into brown?

Crap

Don’t worry! Plenty of schools reject you if they think that you are overqualified. Admissions processes are incredibly random, so don’t think you weren’t good enough. You’ve got another safety secured and I’m sure everything will work out. Did you apply anywhere else?

Don’t worry! I just got into Fordham, but I was waitlisted at Occidental - which I also considered a safety. I’ve seen quite a few others on here waitlisted there too who were on the upper end with their stats. One school’s acceptance/rejection seems to mean very little about what you may get offered from another school. Let’s all keep our hopes up (though not expect anything)

admissions these days are unpredictable, it might also be a tufts syndrome; good luck on Brown.
