Rejected by UCLA

Major was econ, GPA was 3.67...

All those who are rejected as well, please share your tragedy here

Already an appeal thread about this that got bumped off the first page.

I got rejected from LA too, just confirmed it
Major was econ, GPA WAS 3.72…
kind of sad.

rejected and still alive lol psychology 3.36 gpa, igetc and prereqs done. to be expected. it was a long shot. I feel lucky to have got into UCSD and UCI. if UCB accepted me I would have a heart attack.

same gpa as OP. anyone still holding out for berkeley? i’ve been seeing some hopeful posts by others rejected by ucla, but what’s the history like with ucla rejects/berkeley admits?

i hadn’t even meant to apply this year, but i still feel disappointed to be rejected. chin up everyone!

Econ
3.65
feelsbadman

“Dear Applicant:…LOLZ! YOUR APPLICATION WAS UNDER 9000, YOU MAD? But seriously, we regret to inform you that a 3.6 gpa is competitive, however still sucks.”

To be fair, I didn’t have all major prereqs completed! Lesson learned, and future applicants make sure to TAKE THAT SERIOUSLY.

Got into UCSD and UCD so far, waiting for UCI, UCB, UCSB, and USC.

Cheers!

Biz Econ. 3.67 GPA.

Looks like a trend.

Not looking good for Berkeley Econ… eh?

hahahahaha @Pulimiter good one. what i got from it was “It’s not that we think you are that stupid, we are just really picky…Good luck with your life”

Berk and ucla have different standards. so there is still hope.

praying for Haas! hoping for atleast ucsd ><

4.0 but still got rejected. I knew that I won’t get in beforehand 'cause I have not finished at least 3 prereqs but I still applied just for fun.

Has anybody called and asked why they were rejected? What’s the phone number?

I’m seriously bummed I didn’t get into UCLA. I’m just bummed because I was so set on going and fell in love with the school years ago while visiting friends. I still got into many good schools, but you know it sucks when your #1 rejects you.

I had a 3.64GPA but Poly Sci is impacted and their average goes up each year, last year it was 3.75.

i really hope that berk will be more merciful :|

good thing though is im in for UCSD and UCD
