<p>1) Calm down
2) Send a request to join the waitlist
3) Go talk to your counselor, tell her to call the admissions office, and express her interest in you getting accepted.
4) Keep your grades up, and continue with your EC’s
5) Send a letter of continued interest, which would include what you have done since you last contacted Duke (Mid-year Report).
6) Wait.</p>
<p>You don’t have any safety school? yikes! If I were you, I’d start looking at some community colleges or any other college that could possibly still be accepting applications. I know that’s probably not what you want to hear, but it’d be better to go to cc for a year and transfer next year than to be stuck going nowhere in the fall. Follow AKDigger’s advice as well. The only thing I would add is to notify Duke of any awards or honors you might have earned since you applied. Best of luck! Hopefully things will work out.</p>
