<p>Yeah i got rejected too... Not my first choice; I only applied to it as my "wow i've heard of that school before!" type college.</p>
<p>UIUC, CMU, Georgia Tech, and Texas.... heck even Purdue, are all arguably >> NU in EE and CS anyway, and for half the price.</p>
<p>Good luck the the acceptees though. I am slightly disappointed, as NU is an excellent institution, but I knew I didn't have much of a chance anyway; 3.35uw, 1360, no hooks or ec's... aren't a sure-shot at any prestigious university these days.</p>
<p>But at least it will make my decision much easier in chosing a college now.</p>
<p>Yeah...I was rejected too...this is my first (and probably only) rejection. Oh well...I knew I wouldn't go to Northwestern anyway.</p>
<p>I just didn't want to be rejected for the sake of being rejected. :(</p>
<p>Plus the extra wait...that was just rude.</p>
<p>Oh well...good luck to everyone with their other college choices! Like I've said before, there are good schools out there for everyone!</p>
<p>Rejected. Eh, that's okay though. I was a music major and auditioned when I was sick, so I was kinda expecting it.</p>

<p>yepp.. I am a Northwestern REJECT. lol-- I really don't care too much at this point either. I'm taking this as a sign- I was meant to be a New Yorker, not a Chicagian (Chicagoer? Chicagite?) Anyways... hello NYU! Hope you all find the perfect school for you, and if any of you are heading to NYU this fall, I'll see you there!</p>
<p>Oh well. I guess the day to digest everything softed the blow. I'm already into NYU and UW Madison so I'm not too worried. Lets just hope I have better luck with my other schools....</p>

<p>I really dont think any of you should but mad that "they made you wait two extra days." It cleary was not intentional. They did not do it just to make you mad or mess with your heads...Being upset for being rejected is completely understandable, but the idea that they intentionally did not post the rejections is unfair to the school...</p>
<p>BTW...I got waitlisted (and I'm not accepting....so basically rejected)...so I am not just rubbing this in your face...</p>
<p>northwestern is boring anyways..i got rejected and i dont know why i applied there...1360...3.9....5/250...im waiting from uchicago (hopefully) and columbia (yeah right)....i think im weird enough for uchicago...we'll see.....(when is uchicago giving the letters out anyways?)</p>
