<p>Sometimes they don't give you the points you deserve. I didn't get into ucsd cause they didn't factor in my volunteer points. after calling them. im accepted.</p>

<p>I'm not sure where, but the UCSD rating system is POSTED AND VIEWABLE! It's like out of 11000 or so and you had to get like 7730 to get in.</p>

<p>My cousin was rejected from UCD last week and was pretty crushed, because she figured UCSC was going to be her best option, but for some reason she was accepted to UCLA! FWIW she's Asian, did not apply to an impacted major, and had average essays, so I have no explanation for the discrepancy.</p>

<p>Dude I know has a 3.6/1900 and was rejected from Davis and SB but got into UCLA.
