Still waiting for my decision…was anyone on here rejected?

Do they send rejection letters, or just not send acceptance letters? I heard that they made all decisions on thursday, so i'm wondering if ppl have gotten letters yet.

On my D's acceptance letter it said she had to respond by April 22. I'm sure some students will not be attending (cost?) so there will probably be more slots opening up after that date.

S has not heard anything.

same i havent heard anything yet, so i assume peopel in my situation havent been rejected yet and are basically like the program's waitlist

Well I guess I get to be the 1st.

Not too suprising, but I did write about 10 drafts of my essay & thought it was better than most of the ones posted on here (I asked people to compare them blindly w/o knowing which one was mine).

3.7UW, 4.2W, top 5%
2070 SAT (790M, 600R, 680W)

Wait, so you got a letteR?

yup.

"while we regret to inform you you didnt get into our selective program, we would like to suggest our automatic entry program (as we are still interested in that $5,000!) Thank you!" :(

I hope I don't sound bitter -- I hope all of you have a great time. I was really interested in metting some CC people this summer. lol

Hey- S got the same letter! I rushed right to the mailbox to mail the $5K for the other program! (not....) Still waiting to hear from M&T. Stam- S's stats are very similar to yours. I don't think his app reflected much leadership. He goes to a boarding school and is a three season athlete, which is pretty much all he has time to do. Oh well.

i got the same letter as well, im not dissapointed, they TAKE ONLY 60 KIDS, its the best of the best of the best, everyone who heard just now at least made it through their initial cuts and should be proud? or not haha

I just got rejected. 2340 on the SAT (800, 770, 770), nearly perfect unweighted GPA (i.e. all As, and mostly A+s since my school differentiates), what I would imagine were good recs, and what I would consider good ECs, but I also live in NJ and am a white male so I dont add any diversity and more importantly I didn’t take the essay very seriously since I was tired of writing them after applying to TASP and getting rejected. :(

Haha, I got rejected for LBW but actually accepted to Wharton.

Although, if you do get LBW, it does reflect well upon you.
