Hey everyone,
I found out I got rejected from UCR. They said I did not meet the minimum requirements. Does any have any recommendations on what I should do?
Also, what are my chances for SDSU?
My stats are
-3.2 gpa
-1460 SAT
-24 ACT

I’m sorry to hear that. I’m sure you will get into SDSU.
BUt maybe your essays were weak because your act looks fine but
your gpa is a little low.

Hang in there! It could happen! Just in case, t are still schools you can apply to, and there will be a list circulating soon.

BTW, last year my son was rejected from SDSU, but admitted ( after wait list ), to UCR. Where you live (if you live in the referral area) might be your saving grace, but I think SDSU has a lower admit rate, and similar average stats.

Thanks for the replies everyone.
I already applied to SDSU and I live in San Diego and want to major in computer engineering. UCR didn’t mention the requirements I didn’t meet. I also applied to some other UCs (UCI, UCSD, UCSB) and Embry-Riddle in Arizona.

it sounds like you’re not even sad that you got rejected from ucr?? but anyways, you must have had a really weak essay becasue i had lower stats than you and i got in to ucr & ucsc last yr…
