Rejected from UCD, Waitlisted at UCSC

<p>Hi everyone,
Just yesterday I discovered that I had been rejected at UCD, and waitlisted at UCSC.</p>

<p>Is there any particular reason I had been waitlisted by UCSC? My GPA is 3.71, with 2080 SAT, and my cousin told me that listing my freelance graphic design would help me out (My first personal statement revolved around my graphic design). I thought my essays were VERY good as well.</p>

<p>I've been incredibly stressed and distraught from this... what do you think my chances are at UCI?</p>

<p>I also got rejected from UCD too but I managed to get into UCSC. My numbers are not that different from yours but maybe it could be the extracirriculars you did? Like maybe you didn’t do enough or there was not enough variety? </p>

<p>I’m also waiting for UCI cause I’m a bit worried that a rejection from UCD will mean that I didn’t get into the other colleges</p>
