<p>one of my friends got the rejection from UCI today as well. His gpa was 3.8 and his major is Bioengineering… Yes, he was angry when he called me…</p>

<p>Are you missing pre-reqs? UCIs gpa of acceptance lies around 2.7 so id say your well over qualified, either it was a fluke, or your missing some serious classes.</p>
<p>agreed…I’m missing like 2 pre-reqs for UCI and I got in with a 2.8 for poli sci. My EC’s and Essay wasn’t that great either, i have no clue how you got rejected to UCI. You either have nothing done for major reqs, igetc is incomplete, or you are trying as a first year transfer…</p>

3.57 GPA, Art History major, CA resident currently at an out-of-state LAC.</p>
<p>Wow can you guys please tell us how many pre-reqs you were missing?? You can be rejected with a 4.0 if you’ve only finished 4/12 prereqs. So its pretty pointless to just put up your GPA and scare everyone.</p>
<p>I’m not missing any prereq’s. I’m finishing the math requirement this semester. Oh well.</p>
