Rejected from UCSD, UCD?

How many of you are waiting for Irvine? ;_;

I am. I got rejected from both of those colleges along with UCSC.

ugh didn't get into those college either. Hopefully I get into irvine and sb =/

same,

but got accepted to ucsc

Im also waiting for Irvine, which is my #1 choice. Got into UCD,UCSC, and UCR already. Rejected by SD =[ .

you guys, just remember that ucd, ucsc, and ucsd are all on the point system
so you cant as easily predict your decision at irvine based on those
dont lose hope yet

is uci not on a point system?

im in the same boat as you man...ima just wait it out.

Carly and lastsymphony, I'm in the same boat. Rejected at UCI, UCSC, and UCSD. I'm waiting for an Irvine rejection--and one at Calpoly as well. I'm REALLY nervous.

I got accepted to UC Davis but got rejected from UCSD. :( I hope I get into UC Irvine! Hopefully tomorrow's the day?

I'm in the same boat. Got into UCR and UCM though.

I'm really praying that UCI comes through for me.

i got into ucD and rejected from ucSD =[ i'm out of state tho xP

uci is not on a point system

What do you guys mean when you say UCI isn't on a Point system? Does that mean they don't follow a guideline when admitting students? If so isn't that a bad thing? That means your admission is kinda more subjective than it otherwise woulda been. Right?

UCI is not as strictly point based as say UCD or UCSD. If you look at Princetonreview's website on things UCI basis on admission criteria:

It shows that UCI puts a little more importance to essays/EC's/Work Exp/Volunteer than UCD

UCI's definitely not relying on point system which I think is a lot better than UCSD and UCD.

i got rejected from ucsd as well T_T
but accepted into ucr so far.
i hope irvine pulls through for me

Its really sad that I got rejected from UCSD, cuz my sister is attending there rite now. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if I can still get accepted to either UCLA or UCB. I really wanted to go to UCSD. MANNNNNNN!!!!

Stats:
GPA: 3.4
SAT: 2020
Took 2 AP classes
Did a lot of extra activities, and I mean A LOT!!!!!

I got accepted to UCD, but i got rejected from UCSD, I am so madd! I was wondering if i still have a chance of getting accepted to UCLA and UCB. I even got a supplemental paper from UCLA???

Rejected from UCD, accepted to UCSD, UCSB, UCSC. Still waiting on Irvine, but will probably go to sd
