<p>At least in California, there's a deal that if you go through a two year community college, you are guaranteed a transfer to a UC. I don't know much about it, but I know for a fact it exists.</p>

<p>I'm sorry to say this, but that letter was sent to every applicant who applied - meaning it was a confirmation letter, not a likely.</p>
<p>that wasn't a likely letter. "identified as a possible candidate" just means you sent in an app. "looking forward to reviewing" are empty words.</p>
<p>Where was your counselor in all this? Did they know you were just applying to 1 school?</p>
<p>Clemson does not have rolling admissions but an RD deadline of May 1st.</p>
