Rejected...Now what?

Hey guys, just wanted some advice.
I was rejected from G-town (which was my top choice BY FAR) and I'm going to try to transfer in after one year.
Because of lovely financial aid packages, my choices have been limited down to NYU and George Wash U.
Which of these two schools would you consider as better
(I'm going to try to transfer in to SFS)
Any input would be much appreciated!

VougePanda, I havn't gotten in anywhere yet, until this afternoon George Mason called and told me I was accepted. I really want to be near D.C, so I am probably going to there, even if I get off the waitlists elsewhere. (It's also cheap, cheap). Also, apparently you can somehow take classes at Georgetown, and other near by schools there. Which I am going to take advantage of. I am wondering if GWU has cross-course as well.

hey, its me....
I'm so sorry to hear about G-town....but you shouldn't feel down---just look at all the amazing applicants they declined this year.
Nway, I suggest that you go to George Washington because its also in DC so that you'll be able to express your interest in Georgetown personally; GW and G-Town are closer schools. In addition, its under my impression that GW gives better financial aid packages than NYU.
I hope you feel better...

any other input?
A plus to gwu is that they are offering a full ride, but i want to go wherever will give me a better chance of transfering

I would suggest GW. There's a huge number of people who transfer from GW to Georgetown every year. And even if you don't transfer it's a great school and it's in DC--and you have a full ride. You can also take Georgetown classes through the Consortium if you're at GW, as well.
