Note that no specific major is required to do pre-med. You do have to complete the pre-med courses, which are some science courses (but fewer than for a major in any science), plus English composition and usually some social studies courses.
There seem to be no safeties in that list. Are you ok with starting your college at a community college and then transferring to a university (probably an in-state public university) to complete your bachelor’s degree?
