Rejected :( Reason to transfer?

"However, as part of the Trojan Family" blah blah blah. I have double alumni and got rejected. Should I transfer?

I'm not as hurt as I thought I'd be because I kind of prepared myself these few weeks for it, just in case.

But, is transferring a like.. detrimental process?

In terms of like.. making new friends, adjusting to courses, and the new environment.

I do adore SC, but I feel like .. betrayed and also released in a way. Doesn't feel that bad but it just sucks hahah.

Any input on transferring? It'd be about a "2 or 3 semesters" in before I could transfer, which is very reasonable.

I transferred from Santa Monica College. Transfer time depends on your intended major and how many units you take each semester. Of course there is an adjustment process once you transfer. The same goes for first time USC freshman.

How was it at SMC? I hear they have the highest transfer rate down here, with GCC (in my city) being second.

I actually grew up in Glendale and went to GHS. I really liked my time at SMC. There are a lot of great professors, helpful counselors, and serious students focused on transferring. I am actually going back to SMC this summer to take a class or two.

Everytime i think about it, the more obvious it gets that i might not transfer. If i'm gonna work my ass of for one-two years i certainly can try transferring to a much better university....i dunno....USC just wont remain my first choice then and i'm sure of it.
