gosh dang, they really are messed up. the chair of business review repeatedly told me "we do not do rolling admissions" and i was like, "huh....really???". they are such liars if that's the case.....

maybe he meant rolling by: you can apply whatever the day of the year, and not "we make all of our decisions at once" since it seems UIUC has a deadline sorta.

maybe business is different. I got in engineering.

Ok, it's official. I talked to another counselor and they said, "WE DO NOT USE ROLLING ADMISSION"
Hmm...........

If what you're saying or what they're saying is right, then how are people getting accepted BEFORE the priority deadline, even as early as late september?!?!

I will apply late October. Will I get rejected to architecture major with 3.8w, 1250 SAT, 12%, architecture summer paid internship during one summer (Junior), a few clubs, no leadership positions though, and OOS?

Hmmm...well if you actually did something realted to architecture you would have a pretty good chance. I know my sister got accepted to UIUC for either Art or archetecture and her grades kind of faltered after 10th grade. You should prolly retake a standardized test caseu 1250 is really mediocre. In my opinion though: If you want architecture, go to UIC, not UIUC. UIC is actually located in Chicago where architecture was literally born. But that' s my opinion.
