I wound up at a college I didn't like, and I didn't have a good time. I did okay academically, 3.3gpa - would have been 3.7 if I didn't get a D- in calculus. I applied to Northeastern's CBA with my 3.9 first semester gpa and was rejected. I still want to go to Northeastern but I really don't think I can return to my previous school, I didn't put a housing deposit down since I was confident in my transfer chances so I would be staying in a forced triple.

What are my options here? Could I take a semester off and maybe apply to Northeastern's CAS? What could I do for the fall?

I’m definitely going to reapply for the Spring semester to try to get into the College of Arts and Sciences as an Economics major. Is it more difficult to get into the 2nd semester?

Is taking a semester off going to hold me back in the future? I’m just scared if I don’t get in I will be totally screwed.
