Congratulations.
I saw same message on scholarship, too. But I expected more than $80K total for my D when I used Baylor’s scholarship calculator. Probably, Baylor didn’t put any National Merit Finalist factor yet since NMF will be announced in Feb next year.

No, I haven’t gotten anything in the mail yet (that I know of). It was under a heading called goBaylor Financial Aid. It actually makes it sound like it is guaranteed; the phrasing is “Your admission to Baylor University carries with it an academic scholarship totaling $80,000 which will be divided over eight undergraduate semesters.”

Hey y’all. I completed my application for Baylor in October/November. However I procrastinated severely when it came to sending the transcript, mostly because I wanted to finish the optional questions before they evaluate my decision. I finally finished my questions and sent my transcript in two days before the deadline and in less than a week I checked my gobaylor account and it said I was accepted
4.1 GPA
1530 SAT
22 ACT
I personally think what generated my acceptance was my answers to the short questions. (and the fact that Brian Kim personally emailed me constantly telling me to send my transcript).

congrats @delores07! What degree program did you apply to?

Thanks @RobinLBA and my major is Health Science Studies.

Well, congrats again! I hope you have a great experience at Baylor.

I got rejected. 31 ACT. 2100 SAT. 4.1 GPA. Top 16% of my class.
Baylor is on the rise for sure. They are becoming selective, receiving huge donations, adding buildings and hiring excellent faculty. Their honors college is awesome. They do have a very high medical school acceptance rate and a great alumni network.
I dislike Waco but I love their campus and fact that one can do day trips to both Dallas and Austin. their rankings are going up every year.
Yes, their Honors College is good.
