Yes folks...the letters are out. Just received my expected rejection letter here in NY. It was a very nice letter and it suggested applying after a year of studies somewhere else. LOL. well good luck to all!

sorry to hear this.. out of state is so hard though. we are expecting a rejection here as well (out of state, too).. funny that you heard first and not someone from N.C.

I got accepted just a few minutes ago. Kinda funny that the date is the 31st. Sorry about your rejection.

Just got the mail.. D is waitlisted.. oh, well, was probably her sixth choice out of seven. She probably won't reserve her place on the list.. however, does anyone know what the chance is of getting in from the waitlist here (just curious)...?

I would have been shocked if I wasn't rejected. It was lame how the letters were dated on March 31st when they were sent earlier. Also, if they knew the decisions already, they should have just posted them earlier. I knew I was going to get rejected but what's the point of making everyone wait if they already knew. The letters were postmarked on the 23rd.

Great essays, writing is my only strong academic strength, haha
Toughest courseload, which probably hurt, especially since they asked for midyear grades (68 in AP Bio. . .getting a 47 this term, wooo), and I really just gave up on school.

Didn't have an official with them for my sport which probably hurt, and even though I loved the campus and had a great time when I was down there, I doubt I would have attended if accepted, as someone mentioned earlier, it was my fifth out of sixth choice school.

carolinequips, I am instate and got a decision today.
chickenlegs, good luck on your last decision today.
