REJECTEES! Where are you going?

I was rejected today (2 times by cornell and NYU. OUCH)

Although luckily, i already had somewhere else to go, I feel really bad because I still wanted to be accepted...

Anyways, so rejectees, what schools are you going to?

I'm probably going to USC! (woot california!)

I got rejected from NYU, as well. I am going to Boston University, but I am going to try to transfer to NYU for Spring Semester.

maryland, but i as well am going to try to transfer to nyu or georgetown. is transferring to spring semester any better/at an advantage compared to transferring after an year? i feel like if you transfer to spring semester you won't have much new stuff to show the adcoms. i mean, they'll still look at your high school records and stuff. i mean if spring semester transfer is worth it i may embark upon that but i thought that would be kinda hard.

Howard University. I figure there's always grad school...I guess

Most likely UCSD. I suppose it's all good, I don't know if I could handle East Coast winters anyway.

carpe_diem, I was considering transferring to Georgetown also, but I think they only accept transfers for the fall semester.

stupidfambaloo, I'm going to UCSD as well! I'm planning to transfer into NYU next year.

Starting next year this is no spring transfer for NYU I'm pretty sure, you have to wait the year out. I think this is the case anyway if you have already applied...but im not sure.
