Rejecting colleges Question? Please help.

Are you all telling the college you're rejecting which other places you got accepted? I know the deadline is past so I need to get these out like today. Since the deadline is already past, could like email the admissions office and let them know too?

someone please reply

i dont think it matters. just don't do anything..they'll assume ur not going there

I still want to send them out as a courtesy though, but did you list the other colleges to which you were accepted?

alltheway: There's no need to tell them where you've decided to attend. Just a simple, thank you for your consideration, however I will not be attending ABC school. Regards, alltheway

I think I'll just send an email since I wrote the college I will be attending already and I don't want them to see that. Would an email work?

Email is acceptable.

It's fine to put down the college you will be attending. You don't need to list others that accepted you, but listing the one you're attending is common. Not telling them where you're going is fine too, and they will probably send you a little survey and ask about your decision.

I commend you for taking the time to let the colleges know you won't be coming. It is a courtesy, and will reflect well on you and your high school.

Just let the colleges know you won't be attending them. Many will in return send you a survey asking you where you decided to go, where else you had applied, and what caused you to choose the college you chose.
