Rejection.. Appeal Away!

UC GPA: 3.70-3.80ish
SATI: 1940
SATII: 770 (math II), 730 (bioE)
EC: orchestra for 4 years; first secretary, now vp of computer club; online director for funding for research club; charter oak award (each semester one teacher gives one student this award for their excellence). 150+ community service (dunno exactly but i think its less than 200).

I understand some of my stats and EC are low, but I hope to appeal by putting some info that I didnt have room to intially put.

 1. I didnt put a class which i got an A for only one semester
 2. I didnt understand the whole educational preparation, so does Princeton Review, and another educational school count?
 3. Grandmother and Grandfather from my mothers side died in the same month during high school, and had devestating effects cause they were the ones that raised me.

I’m hoping those things that I didnt put in my app may get me in. What do you think? Also, what is the point cut off this year? (btw sorry for the grammar issues, I’m kind of tired and mad)

If your grandparents' deaths had a significant impact on your high school performance, you should let them know if you plan to appeal.

Yeah definitely try to appeal. Your stats are okay and the new information could help.

Strange that when UCLA decisions came out all I saw were appeal threads but no one's appealing UCSD hahaha.
