I hope there is still hope They say the first cut is the deepest, but the second time around is starting to feel a bit painful as well…

We could all transfer after a year worst comes to worst, i just know i really want to go to usc even though i was offered admission to a few UC’s. Best route? Community college then transfer after a year? possibly smc

very true, or just apply to USC for graduate school and work hard during undergrad If it’s not meant to happen, it’s just not meant to. Everyone here is an unique, talented, intelligent, and ambitious individual. That alone with hard work will guarantee success in life. Hell, I know some AMAZING and incredibly successful individuals whom were rejected by USC, it’s just their mistake :)

You are very right ttliyusu2.
That makes me feel happier :]
Thanks a lot!

just got the email: “we stand by our original decision”–>rejected

Thank you for requesting a reconsideration of your application to the University of Southern California. In light of the information you sent us, your file was re-opened and thoroughly reviewed by a special committee.

Unfortunately, we stand by our original decision. This year, we were faced with many compelling students and very limited space in the class; as such, we granted very few appeals.

Should you wish to consider transferring to USC at a later date, we would be pleased to assist you with this endeavor. In the meantime, we wish you all the best in your college plans.

i believe that how you work and the way you treat work will show in the end. I don’t believe that the end is now.

Good luck to all applicants. And to those that got denied (including myself), i encourage you to reapply for the following year.

hope to see you all as trojans in 2011

What the heck man! I haven’t gotten an acceptance e-mail, nor have I received a rejection e-mail. I’m pretty sure I was rejected, but I just want to SEE it, you know?

^Check your spam. I just got it.
I don’t want the rejection letter in the mail too T_T
Well, off to UC Davis! :D

kpopmiko- UC D is a great school! You’ll do great and have fun wherever you choose to go, screw USC and it’s $60,000/year (est. cost) anyways! We might as well buy us all new BMW’s with the money we’re saving :)

still nothing -_- This is starting to **** me off. They could at least have the decency to let me know.

Fortunately, I don’t feel too disappointed.
We’ve tried. Now we get on with our lives. :]

i just checked. i didn’t get any email. would it be possible that i get it in th email?

^ nice attitude. Who knows, maybe one of us will be like Steven Spielberg! USC will be in the background face-palming it for not giving all of us with such great potential a chance!
You all will do wonderfully wherever you go :)

@ girlsocal…me, too! I like in socal as well. I wonder why we didn’t get anything!

I’ve got the rej email, however, I don’t feel so painful as I learned a lot from the first time. Thanks to everybody here and it’s very nice to meet you all.

I’m going to Pepperdine with true pleasure. I think she will also give me a bright future.

Good luck to all!

eff USC…i got into berkeley!!

Well, it’s over for us. My daughter received the rejection of her appeal at 7:35 (PDT) tonight. She has a good attitude, “Well it was the try”! Off to a UC instead. I like the comment about all of us going out to buy a new car with the money we are saving! Good luck to the rest of you. I’m sure you will hear soon.
