<p>Unfortunately, we stand by our original decision. This year, we were faced with many compelling students and very limited space in the class; as such, we granted very few appeals.</p>

My heart is saddened by this decision. I know you will be successful wherever you choose to attend. Best wishes to your new college home. The campus and students will be brightened by your presence.</p>
<p>In case anyone wants to know: I think I’ll go to community college for a year. I’m still waitlisted at Carnegie Mellon and I won’t find out about that until June 1st… but they didn’t give me as much financial aid as I would have liked, so I don’t know how possible that would be.</p>

<p>I’m sorry for everyone that got rejected again, especially Dream. My mom says everything hapens for a reason…</p>
<p>I got rejected too. BUT, I am so stoked to go to UCSB! Funny, but it doesn’t hurt nearly as bad this time around. At least we all tried and gave it our best shot!</p>
<p>For what it is worth, my counselor told me that most everyone gets in if they reapply for sophmore year. I don’t think that I will though. I’m finally getting a car with the money my parents are saving. My dad went to UCSB and LOVED it.</p>
