Rejection by mail or rejection by internet

either...
Letter is obvious as the thin narrow letters can mean only one thing...

I kind of wish we couldn't find out online. It's not as dramatic, but I don't have the sort of self control to wait the extra day.
I prefer snail mail.

i'm trying not to check websites...i feel like staring at a computer screen would be so cold. Plus it wouldn't feel final. I know that I would secretly think that maybe it was a mistake, and put myself in a position to be disappointed twice. Then again, I'm an impatient person so who knows how I'll end up finding out....

Antarius: not true. There are a few colleges whose acceptance letters are just slightly thicker small envelopes: two pieces of paper instead of one, with a note saying the acceptance packet is in the mail.

does anyone know when the acceptance/rejection emails are sent for the Ivy schools?

they are all different dates.....some are even over the internet

I'd rather see it over the internet... you don't know the outcome until you're ready, as opposed to immediately seeing a thick or thin letter.

I'd rather find out I'm on the wait list...oh wait, same thing as being rejected

yeah, i just found out by mail that i was waitlisted at bc today
