What are my chances at UCLA, UC Berkeley, and UC San Diego?

Asian Male/ California resident/ single working mother supporting family of 5

UCLA is my number one choice now.
I have weighted UC GPA of 4.54 if I include summer community college courses (My rank: 17/492). I got almost straight A's in my soph and junior year(received one B in Biology AP) but 3 B's in my freshman year, 2 B's and 2C's in 8th grade year. Do UC's look at freshman and 8th grade year grades because they dont seem to use it to calculate the GPA. My counselor said that it shows an upward trend in grades which is a good thing o_O;;

What I am really worried about are my SAT scores. I did pretty shoddy on the SATS. My best score at one sitting is 2010 ( 680 CR, 690M, 640W) and my second best score is 2000 (630CR, 720M, 650W). Yeah i am not too proud of my writing score and i am afraid that is where i will fail to get accepted. My SAT II scores are : 790Korean, 700 Math IIC so theyre not that bad.

My ECS are :
Kiwin's:9-11 Publicity chairman in 10th grade
School Service Club: 9-12 (Historian in 10th, Club Representative in 11th, Currently 2nd Captain)
Japanese Culture Club: 9-11
Vietnamese CC: 10-12
Academic Decathlon:11
California Scholarship Federation: 10-12
National Honors Society: 11-12
School's stage band:10-12
School's marching band: 11-12 (Flute Section Leader, Assistant Woodwind Captain, Band Council's Treasurer all in 12th) (took over 25 hours/week of my time)
Hospital volunteering: 10-12 (150 Hours)

Can you give me an honest evaluation of my chances of gettin into UCLA or maybe Berkeley as a biochem major?

I don't know what the hell you're talking about, but:

How do the UC & CSU Systems Calculate The High School GPA?
The GPA for UC & CSU eligibility is the average of grades earned in the required a-g subjects completed in grades 10-11. Extra points are awarded for up to 8 semesters of UC-certified honors coursework. In the selection process however, individual UC campuses may use a variety of other GPAs - some capped at 4.0, some uncapped, some with a limit on the number of extra points allowed for UC-certified honors, and some with no limit on honors points.

well...ok im not sure if i calculated my gpa correctly so you guys can help me then. here are my grades in my 10 and 11th grade:

1st Semester 10th:
English honors: A <---doesnt count as uc approved honors
World History honors: A <----doesnt count as uc approved honors
bio ap: B
foreign language regular: A
math regular: A

2nd Semester:
English honors: A
World History honors: A
bio ap: A
foreign language regular: A
math regular:A
advanced band: A (i took extra this extra class 2nd semester and yes it is uc approved)

1St semester junior:
english 3 honors: A
us history AP: A
science AP: A
foreign language honors: A
calculus AP: A (i checked and all of them are uc approved honors/ap so tthey can be weighted)

2nd Semester:
english 3 honors: A
us history ap: A
science AP: A
foreign language honors: A
calculus AP: A
wind ensemble : A <----this class is uc approved too

summer school junior year:
music: A
psychology: A (both uc approved so they count as AP credit)

Basically, i got one b in an ap class in sophomore year and all a's.
yeah i think it should be around 4.4~4.5 but i might have miscalculated...i wasnt sure how to calculate with 8 semesters honors/ap cap.

i took:
Sophomore 1st semester:
6 classes, 5 that count because PE was required

2nd semester:
7 classes, 6 that count because PE was required ( i took marching band for pe credit)

Junior 1st semester:
7 classes, 5 that count ( i took 6th period Academic decathlon and 7th period marching band for extracurricular)

2nd semester:
8 classes, 6 that count ( i took zero period writing class and 7th period marching band)

Summer school: 2 classes both A's :)
So basically i have 22 semeseters (24 with community college) that count for grades and 28 semesters counting classes that arent uc approved.
*Does UC look at the classes that I took not because i was required but because i wanted to? I took 2 more classes in my junior year ( i had an 8-period day...was really tiring) than other people so i can stand out and to show that im a hard worker. (most of the students at school only take periods 1-6 while i took 0-7 or 1-7) Will UC's use it as a determining factor in my admissions?

are twelth grade grades a factor in admission? cuz im not doing too hot...do uc's look at senior year grades or is that only private schools? cuz i think i will have 2 b's at the end of this semester....
