You’re missing the point…the way you come off on CC is our only indication of how you act in “real” life. If you didn’t write your essay like your “style” of writing on CC, then yes, you’re a very competitive applicant. But you can’t blame me, MIT, or anyone else on CC for believing that your essay is reflective of your posts here. Remember, perception is reality.
